From March to October, Lewisia provides an abundance of colour with its attractive flowers. Because of its hardy leaves, Lewisia needs little watering and once a week is certainly enough. Remove old flowers to make room for the new ones. Lewisia loves the sun but can also withstand slight frosts. As it was originally a rock plant, it performs best in well-drained soil.
